5 Chemistry books every serious JEE aspirant should use!
Every year more than 1 lakh aspirants qualify for JEE-Advanced (out of the 12 lakh+ sitting for JEE-Main). Only 10% of those candidates make it through to get their dream colleges ( the IITs). To be in that strata not only hard work but "smart" hard work is required from the aspirant, and he/she should know which books to refer to.
Here are some Chemistry books which I used which helped me score 95+ in JEE Main(Chemistry), 65 out of 70 in CBSE boards, qualifying for the merit list in NSEC and 80+ in JEE Adv. Chemistry
Note: The books mentioned below are more useful for the students preparing for JEE Adv. and Olympiads! and I have provided some links where you can get the best versions of the books.
1. NCERT (Class XI and Class XII)
NCERT textbooks are generally the most avoided books by the JEE aspirants, but what most of the students fail to realize is that the NCERTs not only aid in class 12th Boards preparation but most of the questions from Inorganic Chemistry in JEE Mains and Advanced are directly or indirectly from the NCERT textbooks. Some of the important topics like Surface Chemistry, Chemistry in Everyday Life and, Biomolecules and Polymers should be studied thoroughly from the NCERT textbooks.

Inorganic Chemistry by J.D LEE
Inorganic Chemistry is one of the most feared topics amongst JEE Aspirants. Due to this apparent threatening nature, preparation in the right direction is a must! Inorganic Chemistry by J.D Lee makes one fall in love with the not so loveable inorganic chemistry. Not only me but many of my friends who ended up getting in top-500 AIRs also used the book.

Advanced Problems in Organic Chemistry by M.S Chauhan

Solomons, Fryhle&Synyder by M.S Chauhan/ Organic Chemistry by Jonathon Clayden
Solomons, Fryhle & Synder interpreted by M.S Chauhan is a very good theory book for JEE aspirants. It has a perfect collection of topics according to the course of JEE and provides the perfect base for an aspirant. Studying this along with your teacher's notes aids in making all the concepts, crystal clear.
Recommendation: 8/10
Organic Chemistry by Jonathon Clayden is not recommended for those who are only preparing for JEE. But those who love Chemistry and want to study it not only for the sake of studying but for the love of Chemistry, it is the perfect book. Also, many students clearing NSEC, and further ICHO suggest them for the Olympiads.
Recommendation: Not recommended specifically for JEE aspirants!
Wiley's Physical Chemistry
Wiley's Physical Chemistry is a not so well-known yet one of the most effective books for JEE preparation. Those who have used it personally suggest it to every JEE aspirant. It is one of the best physical chemistry books I have come across.
