The most important questions from I.E Irodov!

Every year more than 2.5 lakh students sit for arguably the most prestigious exam of the country, IITJEE Advanced. Out of those 2,50,000 students, only the top 4% make it to their dream colleges. Today, I am bringing forth a tool that almost all of the top rankers use and suggest, i.e I.E Irodov.

Problems In GENERAL PHYSICS: Amazon.in: I E Irodov: Books

Many of the students seem to have the misconception of I.E Irodov being too tough and not suitable for JEE. To clear out their misconception, I.E Irodov is not only very useful for IITJEE but also is a very essential tool for a JEE aspirant to master so as to improve their Physics. Though, it is true that almost 30% of I.E Irodov's questions are not a part of the JEE syllabus and must be avoided. For this, the aspirant should be smart and aware enough to know which questions to follow and which ones are for leaving.

But, not everyone is capable of doing all the questions of I.E Irodov and they have a hard time filtering out the most important questions from I.E Irodov. So, I have made a list for the upcoming aspirants to provide them with the most important questions from I.E Irodov, which they must solve in order to get a good grasp at Physics.

Note: I.E Irodov implies "Problems in General Physics by I.E Irodov"

For the aspirants who are giving JEE Advanced this year, this is a list of the questions they must not forget to do/revisit.

Note: The numbering of the questions is according to the book "Problems in General Physics by I.E Irodov" (Arihant or GKP publications).

1. Kinematics (1.1- 1.55)
2. NLM (1.75- 1.106 )
3. Work & Energy (1.118 -1.126 , 1.134- 1.153 , 1.161-1.165, 1.184- 1.190,  1.192)
4. Gravitation (1.260 - 1.209, 1.216, 1.218, 1.220, 1.221, 1.224, 1.227 )
5*. Rigid body dynamics/ Rotation - (1.248- 1.282*)
6*. Fluid Mechanics ( 1.315 - 1.335 )
7. Thermodynamics ( 2.27 - 2.30, 2.32, 2.35, 2.39, 2.40-2.45, 2.51, 2.56, 2.59-2.62)
Note: The rest of the thermodynamics should be done only if you have time, I would suggest JEE            2020 aspirants go for previous year questions instead of this.
8. Electrostatics and Electrodynamics (3.40- 3.53, 3.149-3.163,  3.170- 3.195, 3.201-3.209, 3.222-3.228, 3.234-3.236, 3.243-3.248, 3.252- 3.261, 3.288-3.313*, 3.327- 3.336*)
9. Radioactivity (6.225**, 6.228, 6.229- 6.233 )
10*. Waves and SHM (4.20- 4.32, 4.40**, 4.63, 4.65)

Note: The parts which are star marked are very important and should be done very sincerely.
Note: Image method is not included in the JEE syllabus but it makes questions easier, no harm in learning!
